No prize alternatives or cash equivalents are offered. Prizes are non-transferable. The winner is solely responsible for all applicable taxes related to the acceptance of the prize. The value of the scholarship varies depending on the chosen school and program. The prize has a maximum value of $160,000.
Additional prizes can only be won by high school students graduating after June 2015. These students are not eligible to apply for admissions to The New School and do not have to apply to The New School as part of the competition process. There will be one additional prize for each of the five participating divisions of The New School.
The jury, consisting of representatives from Student Competitions and the five participating schools, reserves the right to choose the winners at their sole discretion. The jury also reserves the right to choose fewer than the predetermined number of winners if, in the jury’s sole discretion, an insufficient number of eligible and/or qualified entries are received. Incomplete and/or inaccurate entries and entries not complying with all rules are subject to disqualification. The terms are governed by Swedish law and therefore you submit to the jurisdiction of the Swedish courts. Student Competitions reserves the right to change these terms at any time.
Only one entry is accepted per participant, implying that each applicant only can apply to one school. All participation in the competition must be individual.
